I have always loved magazines, since the days of my beloved Fast Forward Magazine. I tend to have a real mix up of different varieties, I love fashion maagzines, I love the classic, Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, but I tend to be swayed by the photography in each, and while I still love them they don't really relate to my life, I'm no really sure they ever did.
I'm sure it can't just be me that finds a nicely wrapped present an absolute joy - Tiffany's perfectly turquoise boxes with silky white ribbon come to mind, aswell as cosy old Christmas films with piles of lavishly wrapped gifts.
Before having children I honestly thought having children wouldn't really change much about the decor in our home - sure, I though we'd have to move a few breakable things and accomodate a few toys, but apart from that, that would be it. How wrong was I?! Not that I think that having children changes your style at all, I actually think it makes you home and style work so much better for you as having children adds a whole new level of functionality to your space.
