CeCe's room is the smallest room, and though tiny I've never let that get in the way of her having everything she needs - without it looking like a toy junk shop!. You can read about her little desk space we created here. While I loved it and it worked wonderfully I'm always trying to think of new ways to free up space and to encourage her with her creating and so I'd had my eye on some kind of memo board for a little while. The Ikea Skadis pegboard was the perfect solution (by the way this is in no way sponsored I just love passing on my love of really beautifully designed and functional products!).

I'm going to have to think of some harder places to find this year I think.

Happy New Year! I know it can be a bit of a cliche but I love the start of a new year, I love looking back over the last year and planning lovely things for the future. I think I'm going to do a separate post about all my hopes for this new year, but for now I thought I'd just take a liitle look back over our Christmas.

In some ways our smallest room for our smallest girl reflects her perfectly, tiny but with the brightest pop of orange on the wall the drama of such a strong colour could be a bit much for most kids' rooms, but not for my little live wire!

I'm sure it can't just be me that finds a nicely wrapped present an absolute joy - Tiffany's perfectly turquoise boxes with silky white ribbon come to mind, aswell as cosy old Christmas films with piles of lavishly wrapped gifts.
