CeCe's room is the smallest room, and though tiny I've never let that get in the way of her having everything she needs - without it looking like a toy junk shop!. You can read about her little desk space we created here. While I loved it and it worked wonderfully I'm always trying to think of new ways to free up space and to encourage her with her creating and so I'd had my eye on some kind of memo board for a little while. The Ikea Skadis pegboard was the perfect solution (by the way this is in no way sponsored I just love passing on my love of really beautifully designed and functional products!).

When I was at University I used to cover my studio space in anything and everything, old book covers, vintage sewing patterns, anything that inspired me. It was a complete riot of colour and pattern, I loved it. Having a workspace in the home can be tricky, particularly in a family setting, but I think with a little careful thought it can be done.
