In the last year Alie and I have really gotten into getting fit - if you knew us pre this time you would laugh, as neither of us have before ever entertained exercise - but the funny thing is the more we do it the more we want to do! For me after 2 babies I was forever binge eating though tiredness and eating up the rest of their dinners because they simply were too good to resist! For a long time I was wearing bare feet and baggy old vests, but eventually I got myself some proper trainers - a bargain pair of liberty print Gola's, and I am so glad I did! Not only do they feel so much better when exercising, but they make me feel good too. I was so pleased to see so many more floral print trainers in the shops this season, and my favourites are of course by
Cath Kidston. These would definitely make me work out more!

I do find it hard to get motivated sometimes, especially as a mum with small children as squeezing in exercise can be quite a struggle, so I was really interested when I discovered
Mummy Workouts on twitter. Webcam fitness classes for mums, they are the just the thing for busy parents. I was lucky enough to try a 14 day trial and I loved the fact that I didn't have to leave the house for my workout, and that I could also interact with my teacher rather than doing the same thing over and over like you would with a DVD. It did take a little time to get used to the fact you can see yourself (and I had a few blips when my internet couldn't keep up!), but once you forget that its so much fun! And I liked the fact that you can book in your classes, which for me meant that I would definitely do them rather than delaying until another day - which is what generally happens with my 'going for a run' attempts!
