Bloom & Wild - a review

I've been in love with the concept of Bloom & Wild's flowers by post for a while now, but until now hadn't had a chance to try them, so I was thrilled when I saw their recent £15 discount in honour of their new app and excitedly got about choosing my blooms! The Lucy inspired by the snowy forests of Narnia seemed the perfect choice for this time of year.It was so incredibly lovely to receive the flowers straight through the post - who doesn't love receiving parcels in the post? And parcels containing flowers is even better! They arrived in a long brown box with their gorgeous branding on the front, and were wrapped in pretty polkadot cellophane and a gold ribbon, so elegant. It's really nice in a way not knowing how your flowers will look because they aren't prearranged - I was slightly worried at first as I'm certainly no florist, but the handy tips inside the box were helpful, and it was lovely to be able to create a looser more organic looking bunch, as I an find some florists arrangements a little stiff. The flowers are still looking wonderfully fresh and they're almost 2 weeks old! I love the wonderfully festive look of these flowers, the frosty berries, full chrystanthemums, and blue thistle are just perfect. Bloom & Wild also allow you to set up regular deliveries which is such a lovely gift idea. We'll be posting some more floral festive gift ideas in the next few days, so can't wait to fill you in on our favourites! DSC_0004
